Delval, a force to be reckoned with, as they blow by the Kings college today. It wasn’t even a contest as delval scored on it’s first seven drives of the game! Six of their seven drives took place in the first half as they took a 42-0 lead, in the first quarter! Last week it was a kick return for a touchdown that sparked the Aggies to start the game but this week it was an interception by junior linebacker Nick Wright. Senior running back Robert Cleveland punched the ball in the end zone to make it 7-0 and the Aggies did not look back from there. Sophomore quarterback hit senior Mike Jenson with a two yard pass to put the Aggies ahead 14-0. The statistics tell it all in this battle, as Delval put up a total of 440 offensive yards compared to Kings 125 yards. 278 of those were rushing yards for Delval on 61 carries. Kings college had a total of two rushing yards on 16 carries. This is whats most impressive about Delval’s football team, they are not one dimensional. They are successful on both sides of the ball offensively and defensively, and that is why Delval is a force to be reckoned with in this years season. It should be a good match up next Saturday as Delval will return home to verse defending MAC champion Albright College at 1 pm. Delval is 3-0 and if they keep playing the way they are, I see no reason why they can not start the season off 4-0!
